Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) – When the symptoms of EAB begin to show, the infestation is already 2-3 years old. Between 3-5 years of infestation, the trees decline rapidly, and in 5-7 years of infestation, they can become extremely hazardous due to decay.
Spotted lantern fly seen today on red maple. I post the picture because there are two life stages on this tree. A reminder very soon the flies will be gone, but the threat will be even greater!
Last week we added a new piece of equipment to our tree care arsenal. This self propelled, 4 wheel drive, 4 wheel steer 64’ lift will allow us to reach higher and farther out on hard to reach tree limbs needing attention.
